Fail Engineering worked with personnel from Dixie-Net Communications, Inc. (Dixie-Net) and Zhone Technologies during the last several years to implement the Zhone Technologies GR303 based POTs and DSL product line in eight (8) different service areas across North Mississippi. Fail Engineering worked with Zhone Technologies on the specification and selection of the equipment needed in each of the eight Bellsouth Co-locations to provide the GR303 interface via Dixie-Net’s CopperCom Softswitch. Zhone Technologies MALC DSLAMs, Sechtor 100 Gateways and Marconi/Fore systems ATM switches were selected to provide the broadband service to customers in each of the eight locations.
